I’ve been a circuit rider most of my life. Guitar slung over my shoulder, a new song of hope
on my lips, and a Bible in my back pocket most of those years.
I’ve been in the wilderness where they had never seen an American much less heard a white boy picking the blues
and singing about God and hope and salvation.
I have fought the good fight, cried aloud to God to help the helpless and smiled in the face of harsh adversity.
It has been a wonder filled life.
